What to do / where to go in Santiago






When people come here can find it like a very boring place, but it's not like this.Although you don not believe it Santiago has natural places and art districts.Starting from the orient, remember we have one of the biggest mountain ranges of the world, so you must to visit the Valle Nevado, the biggest winter center of Southamerica, and it is situated at 46 km from Santiago and with 107 km of trails you can make activities such ski, snowboard, heli-ski, ala delta and helisurf. Go enjoy exciting feelings beside of a excelent service. In the center of the city, it's impossible that you can't see the great San Cristobal hill forming the ''Parque metropolitano'' and taking their feet the ''Barrio Bellavista''.The hill is located between Recoleta and Providencia and within it is the Zoologico Nacional and ''Santuario de la santísima Concepción'' in the peak, of course you don't have to climb to the top walking, for it are the railsways and the cable cars watching all the city. If you take down, you will see beautiful and colourful bohemian districts such us Barrio Bellavista where you cannot pass by without get in in its restaurants, pubs and discos and the historic place like the Museum-House ''La Chascona'', the extraordinary house of the great poet,Pablo Neruda. Also there are the Parque Forestal and Barrio Lastarria. Here you will see charming coffees, museums (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and Museo de Arte contemporáneo) art in its walls, everywhere! just like the europeans ones. So you can take a walk enjoying the quietness and forgetting the pollutions and noise, feeling you free in a crazy night. Finally you are free to get out of the city and go to visit the natural areas. The Natural monument, Cajón del Maipo offers you an imponent conserved space where you can forget of the rest of the world, going to spas and special programmes of stress reduction wich includes walks, treking, rafting, etc and besides you can do wine tours such Valle de colchagua and Concha y Toro where you will can find out how here the best wines are done.

  2. I´d never been in Valle Nevado", One of the many things that I want to do in the future is to sky, I don´t know if I´m good at it
