My favourite subject

I am going to talk about my favorite subject what is anatomyIs one of the reasons, I think, of why many of us are studying a career like this.In my class the teachers are: Rodolfo Sanzana who is so kind and teaches slowly, so that way we can capture easier contents as complex as these.The second teacher is Elias Fernandez, for me he is the wisest and learned of the theme. He know each single part of the body, the bones and ligaments at the perfection, but his class are hard to get.The next one is Miguel Soto the funniest. I love him because he always comes out with something new and you really have the desire to listen him, although his way of teach is a little entangled .And the last one, but not the less important is Ximena Rojas, the master in nerves. Just like Soto, she is funny in a so natural way and she sures that we learn exactly what we need. I really love to be in her lessons, well she is special. I like anatomy, because the human body is beautiful and perfect and anatomy teachs you how exactly you can know it.This year I have learnt a lot of things, since the minimun face's bones, till the arms. I feel that everytime, it makes me easier to me, however also, that I will never know everything.

My Ideal future :O

When I saw the questions, a lot of things started to run through my head. I don’t know if I have to talk about my career one more time. There are some days where I see myself in the future doing this, physical therapy, like everybody else here, but there are days too, where I’m not sure about this, because during all my life I though in many kind of things, not too typical and by another hand I do like it.I see many people happy in this, I see a good future and I think it's a complete career, though I know that many of my classmates are not really so convinced and I think is pretty normal, but I don't want that all of we finish doing something we do not want at all.Ok, independent of this I would be studying for the next five years. But that's not all I want to do. I also want to travel a lot and for that I have to have a lot of money, so of course i'm going have to work, a little bit in my area, a little bit in a store and I think to sell some of my things.If I continue studying here, of course I am going to keep living here in Santiago, but in my ideal future I would love to live in every part of the world.For the next five years I hope to have advanced my career enough, traveled a lot, known many interesting people but always with the most important pillars of the life: Cience, sports, arts and love.

The best in my area

Although I don't know many physical therapists.
I think the best has to be a person who is able to reach so far and work in an important place and with the best people.
The best in Chile, for me is Dario Correa.
I knew about him, by my ex teacher who is doing with him a Master’s in the University Andres Bello in High Performance Sport.
He is a physical therapist of the Universidad de Chile and the head of the physical therapy service of the CAR (The most important sport high performance centre in my country) . Moreover he teaches in the Finis Terrae University.
I like him because he is doing what I want to do and that is why I admire him. I think you have to do a lot of things to have a responsibility as big as that and, as I have always wanted to know how they work, my ex teacher told me that he said we can go to the CAR anytime we want and see what and how they do it :D.
Maybe he is not the best in my whole area like medicine and all its aspects, but as I fix my mind in this subject for me. He deserves to be here.

My career

Well, you know I'm studying physical therapy in the Universidad de Chile.
I'm doing it because I always had a interest in this area, as well as in medical matter as in sports things. So this was a perfect mix of both, although I had to say that I never had so clear what I was going to study,really.
I know that many people who study physical therapy thinks fisrt in medicine, but i have to tell you that my career is one that makes you fall in love of it.
The profesionals of this, just like the rest of the career of the health's area has a great vocation of service and specifically the physical therapist contributes mostly to the prevention and rehabilitation of the injuries through physical exercises.
I think the tools that we could need in the future can be also psychologicals like the humility, besides the physical tools such as a simple stick or a strange like electronic muscle estimulation. All that is because the time is running so quickly, the technology go on and we have to stop and think the real sense of why are we waht we are. The profession has more and more subjects any time and the workforse is becoming more widespread. Despite of that my favourite subject always be the sport area, that one was the reason of my decision to be here. So I would love to contribute to improve the athlete's performance and I know the U will give all the tools that i'll need =)

I´m gonna tell you about an important photograph to me. Athough first of all, let me tell you it's so hard having to pick just a picture in this moment.

I took it by myself with my cell phone the last year i think, when we were at the garden.

.It was very hard to do it because she moved very much ,however it was a great moment.

I wanted take a picture like this for a long time ago.

For me, it's a perfect combination: a cat, the nature, the expression, if you pay atention you will see that she gives a feeling, I really feel so much with them.

Moreover, i like the contrast of the green, white and blue (not cold colors for me). It's not just a picture with a cat. I love it!, and knowing that now she is so different and I'm not with her, and at that moment I thought in leave her in adoption...But well it's about the photo isn't?

I'd think if it were a picture of mine or not, if it were a pet of mine or not. The picture would be perfect by all means. =)

It's not really directly related with my career, but by now, I use it most of the time to download all the material that the teachers upload. Often this things are the power point presentation of the class, or some essential book to study and sometimes are the homeworks and the marks!!!
It's kind of stressful knowing that i have to come home and realize that i have something to do or a bad mark to know.
So i don't have so much love to that page, but I admit that is very useful!
I found the site coz the university told me about it and I think it's a very good idea, i knew it before in the summer school :D
I use the site everyday coz it's very important to do it. If i didn't it I'd be so lost in the class!
It's a thing of life or dead that's why I like it, yeah finally i like it coz it helps me a lot.

And I know... every of you use it too :D

My favourite piece of technology

My Notebook is one of the most important material things that I have right now.

I could say my Cell Phone, Samsung U600 because it had everything that I needed but I lost it in the summer :(

You can say that the right name is laptop,but HP calls them notebook. So I got my PC from my mom and now is mine because I brought it with me at the beginning of the year to use it for the university.

So I use it to study and to listen and download music. And of course to chat and comunicate with my friends and family coz they are so far from me :( So it's so sad when they talk to me and I can't answer them coz i'm buzy...

But well I have the obligation to check my personal mail, the class mail, facebook and download the class material. Those things are the first one that I do as soon I arrive at home every day and practically it's on all the time.

I like it because is comfortable, modern and nice but is too weighty and the battery is damaged.

After all, with it, I can do anything I want because as I have little time I can look my favorite movies and TV series whenever I want or I can at this time. Without it, I really couldn't do anything. I can't be disconnected and honestly it's almost my only one distraction for this days. But i'm not an addict!
